Street Luge with Brakes

Brakeboard's first twin-brake luge! Front and rear brakes! Pro luge riders are probably horrified by the concept. haha . Your expert advice is welcome. (Bob Pereyra came up with the simple cable connection solution.)

I've rigged up the foot pedals with bike cables. Fairly rudimentary at this stage. Might be able to hide the cabling inside the luge tube frame. Have to wait for testing to see if all is solid.

Next month we are testing some carbon ceramic-Silicon-carbide brake rotors. (materials as used in Formula 1) We are expecting serious heat build up at 100km/h.

Off to find a hill.
